Willow arches protect a peaceful sitting glade beside a rill and pond, and there are various seating areas around the garden. The property has stunning views of the Lake District, the Pennines and the Scottish border hills.

Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. There’s plenty of space, inside and out. The skies are dark, the mobile reception is zero and the silence is deafening.

We also have The Firkin Hell, a private pub on site which you will get exclusive use of during your stay for music, karaoke, darts and retro games machine. BYOB as we are unable to sell alcohol. Perfect for a romantic couples retreat.
