Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Little Ivy is a cosy garden sanctuary filled with natural light. It has it's own front door and French doors leading out to it's own garden, fire pit area and patio. In the summer it benefits from the sun from mid morning until sunset. The fire pit is the perfect place to watch the sun go down. The location is perfect for exploring the area, straight out through fields onto coastal walks, the beach is a 20 min walk and the country pub a 3 min walk. Milford on Sea village is 2 miles away.

Delightful Fishermans Lodge - central Christchurch

Gorgeous retreat on River Avon, overlooking world famous Royalty Fisheries, just a 5 min walk from train station, with parking. This stunning Lodge is the perfect getaway, having the benefit of peaceful river views, whilst in the centre of historic Christchurch. Watch the sunrise from bed, then (with a day pass) you can fish or just sit on the large covered verandah or open deck area, watch the wildlife and then walk into town to shop/eat/drink in 5 mins. Close to beaches AND the New Forest.

The Hangar - countryside views, seclusion & peace.

The Farley Hangar is a peaceful space with far reaching views of Hampshire's woodlands and the Isle of Wight. Located on our family farm and private airstrip in the Test Valley. Winchester, Romsey and Stockbridge are just 20 mins away. On the doorstep of numerous cycle routes and footpaths including the Claredon Way (Sals-Win). King size bed & full-size bath with rain shower. From your private deck with log burner you will see various wildlife species and watch the stars at night.

‘Enchanted’ - secluded chalet with hot tub

'Enchanted' is a beautiful, secluded pine lodge with a large hot tub on the edge of The New Forest. A king size bed in the main bedroom sleeps 2, and a small sofa bed in the lounge sleeps 2 small children or one adult. The fully equipped kitchen sits between the bedroom and the low level cosy lounge which leads onto a large decked area with plenty of seating for those al fresco evenings. The Times "Best Beach in the South - 2025" is less than a mile away. It's dog friendly too.

There is so much to see and do in the local area - whether walks in the New Forest, visiting towns and villages such as Beaulieu and Brockenhurst or enjoying the sea and coastline. The Isle of Wight can be accessed from Lymington Ferry Terminal and makes a great day trip.
