Endless Ionian Breezes at a House on the Island of Ithaca

Lounge on a hillside terrace with sea views as the refreshing sea breeze is flowing all day long. In the evening air carries the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle. A serene atmosphere continues indoors with potted plants, elegant built-in furnishings, and tasteful decor in muted earth tones. Lighting and other details complete the serenity. The house has an airy relaxed ambiance, combining modern architecture with traditional elements. You can enjoy high quality materials, high ceilings, playful light and fine linen. A bluetooth speaker is available to enjoy your favourite music from your computer. Bedrooms have bathrooms en suite. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and espresso coffee machine is provided. A built stone BBQ is available for use. For the colder months, there is a pellet stove along with electric blankets that give it a warm feeling. You have access to our own home grown vegetable garden, according to the season of course. I am available at all times for any assistance required. Though the island of Ithaki is small, it has many hidden treasures. It is my pleasure to help you explore them. Any holiday related services, like rentals or bookings can be arranged upon request. Ithaki island is a quite and rather intimate place with lots of treasures to discover. The house is in the village of Ag. Saranta, a traditional settlement in the northern part, overlooking Afales Bay. The beach nearby with amazing water is 5 min drive away. The village of Stavros, with all amenities, and the fishing village of Frikes are both 1.5 kilometers away. Unfortunately, there is no public transport in Ithaki. Hiring a car is highly advisable Access to Ithaki is via Cephalonia, Patra, Astakos and in the summer months from Lefkas as well.

Ionian gems is built upon a hill, on a plot of land of 4 acres in total. The building itself measures 120 square meters, ensuring maximum comfort and sleeping up to 6 guests. Your first steps will bring you to the villa’s entrance; walking through it, you will discover the living room – which is perfectly combined with the fully equipped kitchen and the dining area. The Villa offers three bedrooms . The fantastic veranda offers many possibilities of recreation and of course the swimming pool.

Country House Hortensia

Country House Hortensia is set in a fenced four-acre green estate. The stone residence is built on a hillside and its private beach is only 50 meters away from it. Outside there is a large barbeque that can meet the needs of every visitor. Up to 6 people can be accommodated inside the house. The large bedroom has a double size bed and in the living room there are 2 polyform sofas that can be used as beds. If someone wants to visit the nearby beaches or go fishing they can use our small boat.

Amor Fati

Αυτό το ξεχωριστό κατάλυμα θα κάνει τη διαμονή σας μοναδική. Βρίσκεται κεντρικά και όλα είναι προσβάσιμα με τα πόδια. Λευκαδα, Αχεροντας και αεροδρόμιο του Ακτιου βρίσκονται σε κοντινή απόσταση. Amor Fati σημαίνει «αγάπα το πεπρωμένο σου»… αυτό που ισως σε οδηγήσει και στον ατμοσφαιρικό αυτόν χώρο..

De villa heeft een eigen toegangsweg met poort. De begane grond heeft een volledig ingerichte keuken en een eetkamertafel voor 8 personen, een woonkamer met open haard en een gastentoilet. Op de begane grond zijn 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer met ligbad. Via een trap naar boven bereik je de andere 2 slaapkamers en de badkamer met douche en toilet. Iedere slaapkamer heeft een eigen terras met een zitje. Halverwege de week wordt de villa schoongemaakt en het bedlinnen verwisseld.
