Un rêve de maison cycladique surplombant la mer

Bienvenue en Grèce, dans ma maison ! C’est une maison familiale, typiquement cycladique. Elle a appartenu à mes grand-parents et j’ai essayé d’en garder l’esprit, tout en l’adaptant aux exigences de la vie d’aujourd’hui . Une maison de village, accessible par un charmant escalier, elle est totalement protégée des bruits de la route. Exposée plein sud, (très important, car à l’abri du meltemi, vent du nord qui souffle en rafale tout l’été) , elle surplombe Klima, un pittoresque village de pêcheurs ( à 20mn à pied et 3mn en voiture) et toute la baie intérieure. Environnement très calme de grecs qui vivent là toute l’année et qu’il faut respecter. Des terrasses où prendre son petit déjeuner, et profiter des couchers du soleil incendiaires. A l’intérieur une première grande pièce commune, cuisine, salon avec un petit canapé, une salle de douche et WC, une belle chambre avec son « doulapi » (placard ) inclus dans le mur. Les plafonds sont restés traditionnels, poutres et kalami récemment blanchis à la chaux et dont la vertu est de protéger du bruit et de la chaleur, mais ni des moustiques, araignées et insectes qui peuvent nous rendre visite en dépit des soins constants apportés à la propreté de la maison ! Malgré tout, même si nous sommes tout près de la mer, nous sommes aussi dans la campagne grecque, celle des oliviers, des cyprès, et d’une flore typiquement cycladique; du chant des cigales et des grillons, la nuit tombée. Avec au loin, les clochettes des moutons et le braiment d’un âne. Ce qui rendra votre séjour dépaysant et je l'espère unique !

Drougas' Sea House

A traditional Fisherman house. One bedroom with double bed.Fully equipted bathroom. In the living room (bed/sofa for a 3rd visitor) you can find and a fully organized kitchen and a dining table.Balcony with amazing view to the Aegean Sea! One traditional “SIRMA” in which fishermen storage their boats for the winter. It's located into the fishermen village called Klima. Fully renovated (2019), with many traditional tips from its past. Perfect place for teleworking ... gazing at the Aegean Sea!!

Think of a paradise. With the stunning sea view, Cycladic design and distinctive contemporary finishing touches. This is the place! Our accommodation is located in Mandrakia Village. The sea is just 50m away. It consists of one bedroom with one queen bed, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom (with complimentary toiletries), smart TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. You can enjoy food & drinks on its terrace with spectacular view of the deep blue Aegean. The port of Adamas is 5 min away with a car.

Aspasia's Fresh House

Aspasia's Fresh House is located in Adamas close to the port and Papikinos beach. Our House is comfortable for two couples or a family, modernly decorated, with two bedrooms (one double bed and two single beds which can become a second double bed) Other amenities include a Smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The house has a huge veranda, sunbeds, and parking space. Papikinos beach, the port, super markets and a bus stop are no more than 100m away. Note there are steps to the entrance.

The miller's house

The miller's house is a 20 minute walk far from Chora, the main village of Folegandros. Its location is really special as it is among the old, traditional windmills of the island in a secluded and private spot. What makes the residence ideal is the fact that it is built right on the cliff, overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean Sea! The house is located in a quiet location with a breathtaking view and, at the same time, 10 minutes walk away from taverns, shops, supermarkets, banks etc. Moving around: In a 5 minutes walking distance there is a bus stop. By car, it is a 6 minutes drive to Sarakiniko (the moon beach), 7 minutes drive to the port and 15 to the airport. We're also very close to Plaka village (the capital of Milos) and Mandrakia fishing village.

Λόγοι που θα σας αρέσει ο χώρος μας: ο εξωτερικός χώρος, το περιβάλλον, η θέα, το φως, η καθαρή θάλασσα και άνετο κρεβάτι. "Armira" Boat House in Firopotamos

Armira Boat House is located literally a few steps away from the sea in the small, remote, traditional seaside community of Fyropotamos. Originally built by my ancestors in the early 1900s to serve as a fisherman’s cottage and boat house traditionally known as “sirma”, it is a unique example of Cycladic traditional architecture and is one of the very few of its kind.
