About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. There is room to relax along with a private outdoor space, 1 covered parking space, and more parking available on the street. Washer/dryer available for guest use. Close to everywhere you want to go while in town! No pets. No events. No smoking.

The private bedroom's amenities include modern appliances and antiques that complement the look of the home.

Dr. Milton Richardson owned this home from 1963-1989 during which time he, along with his brother, Tom and father Sam, also doctors, started the Minden Medical Center, just a short walk down the street! 450 square foot Waterfront cabin on lake Claiborne 5 miles from downtown homer la. Fishing/ boat dock located on the property for guest use. There is a community boat launch adjacent to property. There is an additional cabin on the property that sleeps 6 that can be rented separately. This cottage started out as a snow cone stand built in Ruston Louisiana that was moved to Lake Claiborne in 2020 and was stripped down to the studs and turned into a 1 bedroom tiny home.
