The beautiful canal and countryside are at the end of our peaceful street (South Bank), perfect for country walks, boat hire, canoeing (courses/ solo) paddle board hire or cycling (bikes available) to country pubs/ harbours. Gazing from the shepherds hut or private decking area at stunning sunsets over the lake and the abundance of birds and wildlife you probably will not want to leave these idyllic natural surroundings. It is only 1 mile from the pretty riverside town of Wareham where you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the eateries or relax at the rivers edge.

The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

Get out and explore, taking the ferry over to Mudeford Quay and Harbour for some crabbing or a fish lunch on the beach. Fire up our BBQ, and enjoy views of the Jurassic Coastline. As the sun goes down, a starlit canopy is unveiled for a magical evening. In the morning, wake up and dive straight into the sea for a refreshing swim!

Note that this property has got the electric yale lock, which means we set the code to each guest for security reasons. We will send the door code to our guests on the day of their arrival after the previous guests have left.
