Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Our newly-renovated period cottage has everything you need for a truly comfortable home-from-home. North Cave has a pub, cafe, village shop and fish and chip shop; with the renowned Hotham Arms just one mile away. The cottage is 2 minutes' drive from award-wining children's attraction William's Den, 20 mins from historic Beverley, or 45 mins from York - a perfect base for exploring towns and countryside.

Hidden Hut, Shepherd Hut in East Yorkshire

‘Hidden Hut’ is located in the picturesque village of Bishop Burton, just 3 miles from Beverley. The hut is set on the edge of a wooded copse facing west (amazing sunsets) overlooking fields and the Yorkshire Wolds. You approach the hut via a private footpath. At the hut you will find beautiful warm decor with, fast wifi. tv, kitchen, ensuite shower/toilet and multi fuel stove. Outside in the private garden you will find a fire pit with gypsy pot also separate BBQ with deck chairs and hammocks.

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
