The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! Excellent fishing year round boat launch on property. Lake Talquin less than 5 miles away. FSU and Tallahassee are about 30 minutes away. $50.00 security deposit for unseen damage after cabin inspection if everything looks good you will get refund.
