Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.

Duck'n Hill Cottage (& EV charge station)

Built by eccentric artists in the 80's this quaint little mudbrick sits in the heart of the Yarra Valley surrounded by wineries, stunning gardens and views. Recently renovated for comfort with concrete flooring, new A/C, hot water system, renovated bathroom and numerous outdoor spaces. The kitchenette includes a coffee machine, kettle & facilities, air fryer, toaster, egg steamer, utensils, bar fridge & microwave. The perfect romantic getaway surrounded by nature.

Enjoy the sunset over the surrounding hill then indulge in a luxurious spa under the stars or simply watch the abundanthe wallabies/deers/wombat that often graze on the grassy slopes at dawn and dusk. Have a delicious BBQ, then enjoy the fun of basketball and table tennis. Dozens of Cockatoos fly over the house at dusk. Lombardy poplar leaves on the drive way turn yellow in the fall, and don't forget to take photos with the incredible red maples at the front yard!

Our 1959 vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum of one night stay for a quick getaway or to stay longer & enjoy the peace, light the fire pit, which is under cover, ideal if it's raining (made from a beer keg), and roast marshmallows.

Stay in the heart of Olinda Village at the Old (heritage) Olinda Police Station. From the moment you step into the Cottage grounds you are surrounded by history and the sights and sounds of nature. All local attractions are only moments away. Welcome to Mountain Ash! Wrapped with a bank of windows with forest views and elevated cathedral ceilings, a full sized kitchen and a real wood fire, this space is suited for couples and families alike. Settle in and enjoy a wine or hot chocolate by the fireplace, or lose yourself amongst the natural forest surrounds, with plenty of shops and hiking spots nearby.

Chapel Sanctuary in the Hills

Enjoy a relaxing retreat at our rustic one-bedroom cottage with an indoor fireplace. This little sanctuary is full of character as it was previously a chapel for local nuns that has been converted into a charming get-away. Enjoy the peaceful towering mountain gums as you read a book on the day bed, sit by the fire, or have an outdoor bath in the garden.
