It was built in the early 16th century as a fortress, with the only purpose to protect the city mainly from pirate attacks and constitutes part of the Venetian wall. Kefali village is a quiet village with a cafe, mini market and restaurant. Parking is very easy. Since there is a large square in the middle of the village for free parking.

The house is located in the village of Modi, atop a hill, a few minutes away from the sea and the tourist amenities of Platania and 15 minutes away from Chania . You can experience the life of a unspoiled Cretan village and have a great view of nature, the fields of olive and orange trees while you swim at the pool. The house remains traditional, using natural materials such as stone and wood, while providing all the modern comforts.

It is in a perfect location close to the market of the village, at a distance of 200 meters. Away from the main road for quiet and relaxation! The narrow streets to get to the house impose a small car.
