Built on top of a private hill, villa Volpi is the crown jewel of Tenuta di Tramonte, an exclusive organic estate surrounded by over 40 acres of vineyards and olive groves a short distance from Lucca and all the best that Tuscany has to offer. Our ancient convent has been recently renovated to the highest standards, offering unrivalled comfort and luxury while maintaining the characteristic timeless charm and authenticity of a centuries-old villa. Villa Volpi encapsulates the essence of the Tuscan lifestyle. Beautiful gardens, romantic hideouts and sprawling views combine to create an impression of timeless beauty. The villa’s large rooms, decorated with taste, invite nature inside. The large swimming pool offers spectacular views of the surrounding hill and the sunset. Originally built in the 19th century by bishop Volpi of Lucca as a private residence, the villa is at the heart of an organic agricultural estate that extra virgin olive oil, red and white wine as well as fruits and vegetables that guests can enjoy during their stay. Our Bandino grand suite measures 80 square meters and offers spectacular views of the nearby hills. It is equipped with air conditioning and has a separate living room, a balcony and a large en-suite bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower. The bedroom has a king size bed and is located on the 1st floor with no elevator. The villa is only a 15 minutes drive from the center of Lucca, and is also accessible by train from the nearby station in Ponte a Moriano. Pisa and Florence airports are only 45 minutes away, and Siena, San Gimignano and the Cinque Terre are all within easy reach for day trips. The surrounding hills are dotted with wineries and ancient villas. Breakfast is included and is prepared with care using our own fresh products and eggs from our chickens. Our restaurant offers lunch and dinner service blending local traditional and revisited dishes that will delight your senses.
