Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

Cosy Shepherd’s Hut only a 15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station and the airport flyer bus stop. Cute kitchen & bathroom, underfloor heating & wood burner. The hut is situated in our garden, facing our family home and there is limited outside space. Situated less than 10 meters from the UK's oldest Brass Mill, skirting on the tranquil Mill Island with complimentary access to Kayaks, paddle boards and bikes and all being only a 10 minute drive into historic Bath's city centre. Pop your feet up with a glass of wine while the log burner crackles in the background.

A lovely family home for 8 guests (or 7 if you don't want to use the sofa bed in the sitting room). We are very close (7 mins walk, 2 mins cycle) to Gloucester Road, with numerous independent shops. Also nearby is Bristol city centre, Clifton suspension bridge, the Downs, Banksy graffiti/Stokes Croft, Whiteladies Rd, Clifton village, The Wave (surfing), an independent cinema and many independent cafes/coffee shops.

The heart of the City has more restaurants and bars (often converted from banks) than any other square mile in England. The flat has a bedroom tucked away from the noise and completely silent.
