The living area is open plan with fully equiped kitchen, dining, lounge area with 65 inch smart TV. There are panoramic bi-fold glass doors, with views across the water to Dartmouth . The one-bedroom barn conversion with wood-burner provides all you need for a romantic retreat. In addition, there’s a glazed chill-out room in a charming, single-storey building next door, which also provides a utility room with full laundry facilities and an additional toilet and shower. There is also a 0.5 acre garden with orchard and picnic spot

Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

Unwind at this Devonshire farmhouse, surrounded by the moors. Take an early morning stroll, then head back for a morning coffee to enjoy the elevated views of Dartmoor. Although secluded with a feeling of remoteness, the picturesque village of Widecombe, with its well-known pub is only a five-minute drive away . The listed farmhouse dates back to 1750 and has been lovingly restored in a charming contemporary-chic style, providing a cosy and comfortable interior.
