Our house is located just outside of Wexford town. The property overlooks the river Slaney and the guests can look out their kitchen window at the river. Originally built more than 200 years ago, the farmhouse at Millknock Farm has been extended and modernised many times over the years to create a comfortable home. A welcome pack containing a sample pot of our homemade jam and a dozen freshly baked scones, along with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and butter, waits inside the house on your arrival. Close to beaches, golf, fishing, and bird watching in Ireland's Sunny South East, this is a great base for families (with kids) and groups to stay.

Little Red Barn

The little red barn has everything you need for a getaway. Fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area. Solid fuel stove for those chilly nights. This is the main source of heating, electric radiator in bathroom. 1 bedroom downstairs with double bed, mezzanine level hosts 3 full size single beds. 5 minute drive to local shops, pubs, takeaway, and the beautiful Kilmore Quay with all its amenities. The barn is part of a collection of buildings, one of which the owner lives in.

Croí na Darach Cabin (May-Oct)

Croi na Darach is a private, cozy, bright timber cabin. It is set in a large wild garden next to the river Slaney, about 5 km from Wexford town. It is a perfect spot to unwind, relax and connect with nature. If you ever wanted to finish that chapter, paint that picture or just take some time for yourself this is the perfect place for you. It is an ideal location for exploring the Sunny South East , enjoying a romantic getaway or even treating yourself to that artistic retreat !

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.
