Forge Cottage

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

The Annexe

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.

Stow House Farm Cottages, Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is a lovely two bedroom cottage on a rural farm 20 minutes drive from historic Durham. This pretty little cottage comfortably sleeps four guests and has been converted from the farm’s old tractor barn. For those wanting to holiday in larger groups we also have Cornmill Cottage and Bramble Cottage next door which sleep 6 and 3 guests respectively. Large countryside home

This is a large home in the small countryside Township of Tow Law. It has 3 large double bedrooms. 2 large reception rooms and a galley kitchen. The patio doors lead to a large enclosed yard which is covered with artificial grass and has seating. The house will be fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. We even have a games table and giant connect four to keep the kids entertained!
