The cottage is a short drive from Wasdale & Ennerdale which provides excellent fell walking opportunities, we're a good base for Scafell Pike. We are 1/4 mile from the village with its shops, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is next door to the Red Admiral Pub, 3 miles from Seascale train station and the beach. This house was built for a local iron ore mine in the 1890s. It looks out towards Ennerdale valley, in the Lake District Park, and a short path to the C2C cycleway. The location is quiet, with passing traffic for the farm only. Two double rooms, one with twin beds, are available, with a separate sitting room, with TV, for guests. It is a 10 minute walk to the centre of the village and frequent buses to Whitehaven, on the coast. Well situated for walking, cycling or business in West Cumbria.
