One of a five cottage barn conversion adjacent to the host's home set amidst the beautiful Shropshire Hills and border Marches, on the edge of the Downton Castle Estate and Mortimer Forest, with walks and cycling from the doorstep. The central location is an ideal base for exploring the local area, further afield, or simply relaxing in the courtyard gardens.

The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. The Old Stables is a stylishly-converted private, en suite room with its own sitting area and balcony in a peaceful, unique location on the river - a few minutes walk from the train station and the centre of historic Shrewsbury. Our favourite walk is along The River Severn path to the English Bridge, up Wyle Cop with its amazing array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. A little further is the lovely Quarry Park
