The Tiny House

Mike, Rach and Susie would like to welcome guests to our Tiny House. Situated in a quiet rural location at the edge of the Lake District National Park, 25 minute drive from Coniston Water & Lake Windermere, 3 miles from Ulverston and 6 miles from Barrow in Furness. Only a gentle 5 minute walk to the nearest pub and main bus routes on the A590. Our newly converted outbuilding has been thoughtfully renovated into guest accommodation. You'll always remember your time at this unique place to stay.

Gorgeous home, private parking and stunning views

Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

Cosy cottage stay in Cartmel

Nestled in Cartmel, this cosy cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It offers one double bedroom, a shower room, a separate living/ dining room with a log burner, a well-equipped kitchen along side a washing machine. The cottage is an old granary and therefore the staircase is slightly steeper than standard and open plan . Enjoy country walks and beautiful views, with Cartmel Racecourse just a short stroll away. Close to charming pubs, artisan shops, and the famous sticky toffee pudding.

The Black Dog Cottage - Cumbrian Countryside Stay

The Black Dog cottage is a charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property located in a quiet rural setting two doors down from the Black Dog Inn, outside the town of Dalton in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside. In 2021 the cottage was renovated creating open plan living on the ground floor, a double and single bedroom on the first with family bathroom and a master suite on the second, complete with ensuite. Off road parking is available at the front of the cottage and wifi available throughout.

Braffin resides on a working farm. The 'upside-down' layout showcases stunning views over Morecambe Bay and fields full of wildlife, curious cows, lively lambs and happy free-range hens! Step out the door to join a footpath leading to lovely local walks and just 20 mins on foot to the start of the Cumbria Way, in the 'Festival Town' of Ulverston, a friendly place where there is always something going on. Sit back, relax, enjoy the view - we hope you love where we live as much as we do!

Crumble Cottage a cosy romantic retreat. The perfect place for special occasions or to just get away from it all. Stewart and Sarah carefully converted the old milking shed themselves. Walls a metre thick, large oak beams, log stove, and shutters on the tiny windows that open to reveal a beautiful view of the open countryside with lovely walks from the door. This cottage is full of character and has everything you need for a magical special break.

The Tractor House

A family run upside down house on a working farm just outside the Lake District. The Tractor House is situated in the farm yard amongst families with small children playing. Expect laughter, fun and friendly farm dogs. Lovely views from the open plan kitchen/living area, footpaths in the fields right on your doorstep to neighbouring villages and the coast. Fresh farm eggs available from our 16 happy, free range hens.
