Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

I am excited to invite you to our newly refurbished self-contained and eco-friendly ground-floor apartment, located just a five-minute walk from the train station as well as the cafes, bars and restaurants of Stroud. Our place is perfect for couples or friends or those on a business trip. Cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are within a five-minute walk. Stroud's award-winning market is every Saturday. The apartment is contained within our house and shares a front door with the main house.

Nestled in historic Old Stroud, local legend has it that two brothers shared the bigger house but needed separate homes when one of them married, so Corner Cottage and 2 Trinity Road were born. In a hamlet above Nailsworth, Homefield is in an ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. The bustling market town of Nailsworth, with its numerous independent shops & fantastic eateries, is a 10 min stroll/3 min drive away. Unusually it also benefits from free parking! There are walks aplenty from our doorstep & friendly traditional pubs serving food, real ales & ciders within 10 min by foot. By car "The Cotswold way" is 15 mins, Cirencester 20 mins, Bath, Bristol & Cheltenham 40 mins.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.
