You'll love this unique and romantic secluded location, with its own private driveway, covered parking and Woodfired hot tub, amidst a blossoming orchard surrounded by stunning wildlife. Situated just off the A30 and 10 minutes from Exeter Airport. If you would like to travel to our local historic city of Exeter, There are train stations in our local villages of Whimple & Feniton both of which have parking. Approximately 20 minute drive from the picturesque beaches along the Jurassic coast.

Venbridge Hut

Come and enjoy our beautiful, comfortable and well equipped shepherds' hut located in an orchard on our smallholding in the middle of rural Devon. Dartmoor National Park, Castle Drogo, great pubs, cycling and walking are on the doorstep and our proximity to the A30 (approx 1/2 mile) means that it also makes for an easy trip to the vibrant cathedral city of Exeter, the attractive stannary town of Chagford and North & South coast beaches (in under an hour's drive). We look forward to your visit.

Swallow Shepherd Hut

Wood Lane Shepherd huts are based at Ruby Farm, which is a working family farm. It is situated in South Devon, within a quarter of a mile to the quaint village of Abbotskerswell which boasts a pub and cafe. Torbay with its beaches is a 15-20 minute drive and Dartmoor can be reached within 30 minutes. The shepherds hut itself has a double bed, kitchenette and bathroom. It is south facing and situated in a field rich with wildlife and boasts formidable views across the surrounding countryside.

Higher Brook Shepherd's Hut

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

Ash Woods Retreat - Shepherds Lodge

Our Shepherd's Lodge is located in a beautiful woodland setting in the heart of the South Devon countryside on a working dairy farm - peace and quiet guaranteed! A spacious living area of well-equipped luxury awaits. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen area, modern fitted shower and toilet, a wood burning stove and a large double double mattress to sleep well. There is also a large sofa bed. An outside decking area, firepit and wood fired Hot Tub. This is no ordinary location.

Ruby Retreat Shepherd’s Hut in Devon

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling. She is brand new for 2023. She sits in her own secluded position on a working Devon farm. The views over the glorious Devon hills are truly captivating. There is nothing to distract you from gazing at the fields, hills, woodland and distant church spire (well, maybe some sheep and lambs frolicking).

Luxurious huts with woodfired hottub

Hidden in a little valley, Penn Bergeyn comprises of 2 hand crafted luxurious shepherd's huts. 1 is the bedroom, the kitchen and the bathroom are in the other hut connected by a covered walkway. You can unwind in the wood heated hot tub, relax by the firepit or in the hammock. Located in its own field, on a working farm, the huts are fitted with a very comfortable king size bed and underfloor heating throughout. The outdoor kitchen contains a firepit and a gas barbecue.

Lower Netherton - cosy shepherd's hut

Our bespoke and lovingly constructed shepherd's hut is close to Newton Abbot, the beautiful village of Shaldon and the coast. Only 1.7 miles from the railway station. The hut consists of an elevated double bed, sink, fridge with a small freezer compartment and cooking facilities, with separate toilet and shower. You can relax with a book inside, or light the fire pit/ BBQ outside and enjoy some quiet space to yourself whist gazing at the stars.

Sea Thrift Shepherd's Hut, Blackpool Sands

Positioned near the stunning Blackpool Sands, South Devon, our shepherd's hut 'Sea Thrift' is a charming and cosy place to stay for 2 people. It is an ideal location for exploring beaches, beautiful coastal walks and the nearby town of Dartmouth. Sea Thrift is completely off grid and is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty by Blackpool Sands, on the South West Coast Path. It lies on the edge of the village of Stoke Fleming.

The lovely towns of Chagford, Bovey Tracey and Ashburton are within 15 minute’s drive and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth just half an hour.
