Country Huts on the Wolds - Wool Hut, sleeps 2

Wool Hut, is a beautiful, traditional Shepherd's Hut, located in the middle of nowhere but close to everywhere! Situated on our working farm on the edge of the village of Thixendale, the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, surrounded by stunning landscapes in a peaceful, rural setting. Visit the wonderful market town of Malton, or historic York as well as some beautiful country houses, or simply rest and relax. There is an abundance of food producers and restaurants in the locality for you to explore.

The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. Beautiful 18th century converted cottage attached to a farmhouse that was originally built as a folly to Sledmere House. An extremely peaceful setting with fantastic views entirely surrounded by fields and woodland. Complementary ground tickets will be included for access to Sledmere House and Gardens. Within Sledmere House grounds you will find the beautiful walled garden, deer park, rare breed farm and a delicious cafe serving home cooked food. A perfect getaway for the whole family.
