The Cottage is self-contained, with excellent facilities, furnishings, a private patio, access to the garden and off road parking. A lockable shed is available for cycles and there is space for cars and m'bikes to be parked off road. One medium/2 small dogs welcome, contact host. Situated between the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and close to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is plenty to do and see in the area. Richmond, market town is close by .

Built in the 1600s, Puzzle Cottage is the oldest property in the village and is believed to have been the falconry for Bolton Castle. Ideally placed for the polar express trains. The cottage has two bedrooms one with kingsize zip and link bed and one with two single beds. No smoking/Vaping No pets allowed

Chequer Barn Apartment

An oak framed loft apartment is above a large garage which is accessed by stairs with a balcony for tree level seating. The space is not attached to our house and has separate access. The pitched roof gives the apartment a feeling of space and light, with underfloor heating. The outside space is ideal if you want some fresh air. We are in a rural location with no amenities, although the nearest village is only two miles away. We would welcome all visitors, but we don’t accept children.
