Beautiful 6 bedroom barn conversion surrounded by fields and woods with garden, patio and glorious rural views and self-contained room and en suite above the garage. The house has a lovely handmade kitchen and dining area with separate dining room, complete with full size suit of armour and double-sided gas-controlled fireplace to cozy lounge/reading room. The playroom/tv room, with views over fields and woods has direct access to the patio. Possible for guests to hire a hot tub (Idle Hot Tubs).

Indulge with a stay of no cooking or cleaning (this self-contained guest suite has no kitchen) then sleep peacefully in this unique and quiet location.

Book a 3 night weekend / short break and save 10%. A terraced cottage built over three floors in 1850 overlooking the River Don. A fully equipped kitchen. A unique balcony makes the most of the woodland views. In 5 minutes you can be on the Trans Pennine Trail - excellent for cycling & walking trips. The cottage is 5 minute walk to the local Camra pub (The Huntsman) and The Cottage Bakery just over the road. Excellent speed fibre broadband. Themed rooms due to my big collection of items.

With off road access to the Trans Pennine Trail upto the Peak District it’s the perfect base for getting away from it all and immersing yourself in the great outdoors. The cottage benefits from modern amenities whilst retaining traditional features & is located in a private farmstead, an idyllic peaceful setting overlooking open countryside. 2 well behaved dogs are welcome per stay.s

Home in Penistone

Located in the traditional market town of Penistone, this 3 bedroomed terrace house allows walking access to all the local amenities. The trans-Pennine trail and Penistone Paramount are just around the corner. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with King Size beds and a third with 2 single beds. Downstairs, there is a lounge with a traditional fireplace and a dining room with table to seat six people. There is a downstairs toilet and a bathroom with bath and fitted shower. Parking for 1 car.

Tucked away down a country lane, Comfortable and welcoming, Winking Owl Cottage is a really pretty place, perfect for rambling, birdwatching, and simply enjoying the breathtaking Yorkshire countryside and the unbeatable local hospitality. You can see deer in the forest, bullfinch, kingfishers, nuthatches, and herons, and you can hear the owls nocturnal twit wooing. Close to a waterfall on the river Dearne, this truly is a magical place.
