Noddfa (refuge/sanctuary) offgrid woodland retreat

Noddfa was built in the summer of 2020 initially as a writer's retreat for the owner. It is located in a magical spot deep in the 60 acres of private woodland belonging to Coed Hills Rural Artspace, a low impact community of friendly, artistically-inclined, wonderful people - 14 of which live scattered about the site in their own hand-built dwellings. Noddfa is very much the owners personal space with lots of evidence of his life and interests. It offers comfortable off-grid peace and seclusion.

Just ten minutes drive from Cardiff centre. Self-contained and tucked away, once inside the studio you would never know you're in the heart of Birchgrove, Cardiff, with a great range of facilities and buses just a minute’s walk away. The studio has a shower room and well-equipped kitchenette. With a double bed & sofa bed, the studio can sleep four people, plus a travel cot & high chair. Wifi, Netflix & Amazon TV are provided. Heated Shepherd’s Hut with private hot tub

The Shepherd’s hut and art room are close to the river. There are four self catering accommodations within the grounds each has access to their own hot tubs. The Shepherd’s hut has a shower and toilet, hair dryer, dressing gowns and a heater. Sole use of the Art room is included and has full cooking facilities, a fridge, a wood burning stove, table and sofa. It is an ideal escape for a romantic weekend. The garden is festooned with fairy lights and who are invited to feed the alpacas.

Situated in the picturesque Knap area of Barry, it's very close to beaches, parks, lake, coastal path and Barry Island - the perfect location for exploring the area, chilling out or working from home. Cosy studio

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

Our outhouse at the back of our garden has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, modern studio apartment. With underfloor heating, large sofa's & kitchen /breakfast area it has everything you want for a short or long stay! Separate entrance also makes it private so you can come and go as you wish.
