Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

IMPORTANT: The penthouse is sanitized after each check-out by an experienced professional, strictly following Airbnb’s hygiene guidelines. Upon arrival, you will find hand sanitizer at your disposal. The apartment offers three double bedrooms with high-quality linens and mattress toppers, ensuring a restful sleep and the right level of privacy—whether you are a large family, a group of friends, or a couple. There are two modern bathrooms with spacious showers, illuminated mirrors, towels in various sizes, and a Welcome Kit with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Every space is designed to offer maximum comfort and practicality, with ample storage for luggage and personal belongings. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a Nespresso coffee machine with assorted capsules to start your day with energy. The bright and cozy living area features a large Smart TV with Netflix access, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, and a spacious sofa. The highlight of the penthouse is the large panoramic terrace, furnished with a table and chairs—perfect for breakfasts, lunches, or dinners outdoors, offering a stunning view of Livorno’s canals and the Central Market. The modern design is enriched with historic touches inspired by the city, creating an authentic and charming atmosphere. IMPORTANT: -During your stay, a city tax will be charged of €1 per person during the low season (November–March) and €2.50 per person during the high season (April–October), for a maximum of 7 nights per guest. -To complete the stay, guests must present the required identification documents to the host for data registration in the Municipality of Livorno’s accommodation portal, in compliance with current regulations.

La mia casa si trova a Livorno, nel caratteristico quartiere di Antignano, vicino al centro e a due passi dalle splendide calette del Lungomare, perfette per un tuffo ed un bagno di sole. Base strategica per scoprire i tesori della nostra citta' e delle famose città d'arte toscane. Potrai godere del nostro mare e della cucina a base di pesce fresco . Caffè, tè, tisane, latte e biscotti sono offerti. Il quartiere, tranquillo e pittoresco è a 10 min di macchina o 20 min in bicicletta dal Centro.

Antica chiesa sconsacrata risalente ai primi del 900, originariamente costruita come cappella privata di Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni ha una struttura a loft con due camere matrimoniali su due soppalchi distinti. All’esterno cucina con forno a legna, giardini privato con viale alberato ed oliveto. I cancelli e le scale interne furono costruiti dalla Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni è immerso nella campagna toscana a pochi minuti dalla città.
