This beautiful little cabin nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley Vineyards was built by a master Austrian craftsman. Featuring modern design touches and beautiful timber finishes this stylish, classy getaway is private and serene with views over vineyards to the Broken Back Ranges. We are a fully operating farm so that might mean late night harvesting and an operating cellar door over the weekends. The Cabin is only a few minutes drive to all major wineries, concert venues and restaurants.

Guests can also wander through the vineyard, enjoy a tasting (on request) and take in the surrounding captivating scenery.

Minnalong Cottage This lovely one-bedroom, self contained cottage is set on a working horse property. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke, or a comfortable stopover on your way north or south. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. The Vineyards are 30 minutes drive away, Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive and Port Stephens 1 hour.

The Cottage - Berry House

Nestled among heritage gardens on 5 acres near Morpeth in the Hunter Valley, this gorgeous cottage is part of the Berry House Estate built in 1857. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.
