An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

A one bedroom, self-contained, light, adorable stone annex with views of Pen-y-fan that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (3 at a squeeze) .It adjoins our family home overlooking the gorgeous Brecon Beacons in a lovely village 2 miles from Brecon. Ideal base to explore Mid and South Wales. Wake up to lovely views of the Beacons and birds singing. Near Cradoc Golf Club and stunning walks. Beautiful 20 mins drives to Pen-y-fan, Hay-on-Wye, Builth Wells and the 4 Waterfall walks.

Chicken house dome

Cromen Tŷ Cyw Iâr (Chicken house dome). A slated dome is a unique building, this one looks down the Honddu and Usk valleys and you can see for 25 miles from the star window looking South East. I have reused materials as much as possible in its construction. The original henhouse was rebuilt to create the private bathroom alongside and contains a hot shower, w.c. and basin. I have created a special place for visitors to stay with their own private piece of rural Wales to enjoy.
