Little Halcyon is located in the Anchorage area, West Mersea. Just a short stroll from the beach, local pubs, restaurants and the village. It is a cosy, self contained, newly renovated annexe in 2021 with it's own private entrance and off street parking. Inside you have a sitting room with a sofa, dining table and a Smart TV. The kitchen area has a hob, combi microwave, kettle, toaster and full sized fridge. It has a separate bedroom with a King size bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower.

The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Downstairs there is a bathroom, with heated towel rail and luxury bath with hand held shower. twin room downstairs next to the bathroom. NO ACTUAL KITCHEN!! fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave

The Hare’s Retreat, Great location & dog heaven!

No hidden fees! Discounts for 7 nights or more! The Hare’s retreat is one of two accommodations on site, the other ‘The Kingfisher Studio’. (not in view of each other) A beautiful little annex with its own access and garden. Located 150m off the A134, opposite Nowton park, and only 1.5 miles from the town centre. With approx 200m of river frontage and a good sized field and garden . The Annex has a large bedroom with kingsize bed, kitchen, wet room/WC and a small but comfortable living room.

The location is an ideal access point to the nearby towns and villages in the Suffolk/Essex borders such as Lavenham, Long Melford, Sudbury, Finchingfield, Braintree and further afield Colchester, Newmarket, and Cambridge. The Treehouse Game and Stay isn't your usual self catering apartment. It has its own pool table and retro arcade machine exclusively for your use. Situated above our oak framed cartlodge in the grounds of our house on the edge of the 44 acre village green of Old Buckenham. The village has 2 pubs, shop and country walks.
