Deer greet you along the path to your own reserved full bathroom— one of 3 private bathrooms located in our separate facility a short walk from your cabin. Magnificent views of hill country and relaxing vacation option for your family-perfect for weekend getaway …Located about 10 miles from downtown Bandera. You can enjoy the evenings in the shade under pergola watching the birds soar in the breeze and enjoy the mornings watching beautiful sunrises while you sip your coffee on back porch. Here you’ll find a comfy, secluded, private home on the banks of the Medina river, located 45 minutes outside of San Antonio and a short 15 minute drive to Bandara. This recently renovated two bedroom all rock home has a bonus room, a large full bath, spare half bath, and everything a family could need to enjoy a great trip to the Medina river. The river is very family friendly and 100 yards directly in front of the house.

The Riverwood cabin was built by the property owner (Oso), a direct descendant of Dr. Herff, an early settler to Boerne in the 1850's. The rustic, craftsman-built cabin sits on an 85 acre historic ranch and wildlife preserve, located just 2 miles from downtown Boerne Square. The cabin is a bit quirky, and definitely an experience, yet has all the comforts you will need for a relaxing stay with friends or family! Please read house rules before booking.

2 bedroom rustic house located 2 miles away from downtown historic Bandera. The river is a quick 5 minute walk from the house. 45 minutes away from Maples State Natural Area and only an hour drive from Garner State Park and the Frío river. Please note there is a $25 fee per pet.
