Our cosy three bedroom house is right in the heart of the historic town Barnstaple. It is tucked within a small, residential cul-de-sac with free parking outside. A 5 minute stroll away is our high street: there are lots of coffee shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A fifteen minute drive can take you to any one of our famous beaches: Instow, Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe to name a few. This holiday home is in the perfect location to explore the best of North Devon!

North Devon Bolthole

Ladybird Lodge is a unique and tranquil cabin in North Devon. Set into the hills above Barnstaple, you'll enjoy far-reaching views of Exmoor, Dartmoor, the Taw estuary and all the way down to Hartland Point over the bay. The beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe, Lee, Combe Martin and Westward Ho! are all within a thirty minute drive. The magic of Exmoor National Park will also be right on your doorstep, with it's villages untouched by time, ancient woodlands, and miles of crowd free walking.

Northam Nook, Cosy Coastal Cottage by beach

Welcome to Northam Nook, my beautiful cottage set in the centre of the coastal village of Northam. A mile from Westward Ho! with sandy beach. Close to the quaint fishing village of Appledore, with it’s bustling quayside and ferry across to Instow. A 10 minute walk to the coast path. The cottage is ideal for couples, families and friends any time of the year. Northam with it’s shops, fish & chips, Chinese take away, pub and restaurant, is a great base to explore the wonderful North Devon Coast.

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

The house is situated beside the North Devon Tarka Trail and has outstanding views of The River Taw and just 5 miles from lovely Sandy Beaches. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Our Villa is not a party venue! We will NOT ACCEPT : IVENTS, HEN NIGHT, STAG NIGHT QUIET HOURS 11pm to 7am Pet fee: £ 90 for the entire stay Charging electric cars is not possible!

Recycling bins are outside to the side of the large black dustbins . Separate containers for paper/cardboard. Glass and plastic.

Originally a threshing barn, but recently converted by the owners into a modern space which respectfully retains the character and proportions of the original barn.
