You can snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove after a day of exploring the local countryside and towns. The barn is located perfectly for a visit to the Lakes. Ullswater and Pooley Bridge are only a 30 minute drive away. Equally the Yorkshire Dales and the highest pub in the UK; Tan Hill Inn are also accessible from the barn.

End terraced, 1 bedroom cottage situated in the centre of Appleby (1 minute walk from the Crown & Cushion and the market square) consisting of a lounge/diner and fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven & microwave. Upstairs there is one good size bedroom (with the choice of king or twin beds) with its own walk in wardrobe & flat screen TV, a superb large double shower room with underfloor heating. We accept a max of 1 well-behaved dog when pre-booked.

Once a corset factory, our home is steeped in history, parts dating back to the 1600’s.
