The cottage is perfect for anyone looking to discover the area on foot or bike with an abundance of great walks and the River Stour on it's doorstep. Totally self- contained, it has a peaceful feel with its open-plan living space and woodburner and an outdoor play and dining area.

The bathroom has full size bath with power shower overhead, and the sitting room 2 double sofas, smart tv and wood burner giving the cottage a really cosy feel. Guests will have access to the well known Green Island Gardens and Colchester is only a 5 minute drive away.

Our unique, beautifully restored Tudor candle factory opposite Dedham's iconic church, is a spacious 3 bed, 3.5 bath house, only available for vacation rentals. Set in a private courtyard with reserved parking and a classically English walled garden, central on Dedham High Street. With exposed beams, high ceilings & stained glass windows throughout as well as a flue-less gas fire creating a cosy & comfortable space for you to relax after a day exploring the Essex & Suffolk countryside.

The Old Stables. Detached and full of character

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
