The Retreat offers comfortable and relaxing holiday accommodation for 4 adults with flexibility for an additional child and infant. It has everything to make your visit to the North Norfolk Coast a fantastic experience. The chalet bungalow offers a warm 'home from home' setting. There is a twin or superking downstairs and a double bed ensuite on the upstairs mezzanine room. There is a large shower room downstairs. The Cartlodge has been designed and decorated to a high standard to provide a sumptuous stylish, bright & cosy place to stay. Nearby are the National Trust properties & parks of Felbrigg & Blickling.

The house sits proudly in an elevated position on a picturesque common in the village of Hanworth, boasting beautiful long views across the common. Hanworth has the largest and one of the last remaining enclosed commons in England with grazing cattle, covering 35 acres and borders the privately owned Gunton Park, a 1,000-acre deer park, home to the award-winning Gunton Arms.

There’s a lovely patio areas with gates that open onto the huge green that is great to kick a ball around on or play a game of badminton! There are a couple of benches at the edge of the green that you can relax on and take in the beautiful views of the beach and sea!
