With a super private setting, looking west to Mam Tor, it has a wood burning stove, en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette area (with kettle, toaster, microwave & slow-cooker) plus terrace area with BBQ & garden furniture. It offers excellent Wi-Fi, TV and DVD. The hut is a 15 mins walk along lanes to the pretty & historic village of Castleton.

Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.

The Hut on the Hill A rural retreat in the heart of the High Peak. Sharing the Alpaca field, 'The Hut On The Hill' is enviously positioned looking out over one of the best views in the High Peak. Light the Lantern and the Indian Fire Pit with wood collected from the adjacent woodland. Enjoy the warmth from the fire as you watch the stars. Later snuggle up warm inside with the wood burner and read a book or simply enjoy the silence, free from WiFi and the burdens of modern life.

This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. A welcome pack is included and parking on site. Sorry no dogs as this is a working sheep farm. The Higger Tor Shepherds Hut is sister to the Stanage Edge Shepherd's Hut making this an ideal site for two couples to holiday together.
