This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

Walk to the harbour, beach and the Jolly Sailors a proper local pub, not a tourist trap. Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market are both an easy drive for food and exploring. Large enclosed garden, sheltered west-facing patio, plenty of parking for everyone driving from different directions.

The cedar wood burning hot tub also offers guests the chance to enjoy incredible stargazing at night before cuddling up by the cosy fire.

Home from home garden lodge

A comfy tailor- made lodge within a secluded private garden not far from Kings Lynn. We live here with our (now only 1)dog who loves to bark and greet guests (although very friendly). A great place for wildlife and birdwatching with Welney Wildfowl Centre just 14 miles away and Hunstanton and Blakeney Point seal watching on the north coast. Kings Lynn offers history and shopping. As there is no shop in our vicinity you will find milk, bread and some basic essentials on your arrival.
