The lodge is sat in a small cul de sac near the entrance of the park with lovely open views and extended decking to sit and watch the world go by. Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck is a beautiful bedroom suite in our 330 year old traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Spa, sauna, swimming pool and gym access at a local club is included, free with your stay. A 7Kw EV charger is available, if you're travelling in an electric vehicle.

located in a small village of Backbarrow at the foot of lake Windermere, ideally placed to relax and explore the English district. Included is a private hot tub at the property, private garden and off road parking plus a wood burning stove (central heating is provided) and a short stroll to the Cascades leisure club, where our guests have unlimited use of the facilities during their stay, including, indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room & Jacuzzi, plus a fully kitted out gymnasium!

The Nest is a stylish duplex apartment set over the second and third floors of a modern building in the village of Backbarrow. Guests can enjoy a private balcony with peaceful river views, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the Lakes. The location is just 2 miles from Lake Windermere and 10 miles from Coniston Water. Complimentary access to the pool and gym at The Swan Hotel & Spa is included. Please note that The Swan is reopening from 9th February following refurbishment.

The living area and all 3 bedrooms have smart TV's with freeview and Netflix. On-site there is a pub / restaurant looking out onto the lake. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-In wardrobe and en-suite shower room. 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds.

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
