It has a sitting room and kitchen on the ground floor, bedroom with king size bed and small shower room in the eaves on the first floor. It's perfect for couples wanting a peaceful break, visitors to Glyndebourne or walkers/cyclists to rest after a long day on the South Downs! 'What Knot' is 100m from the South Downs Way.

In an ideal location overlooking a large duck pond and with distant views to the South Downs. It is a great base for walking the Wealdway or cycling the Cuckoo Trail. Places to explore include Lewes and Eastbourne, 9 miles. Glyndebourne 6 miles. An excellent pub and restaurant is within a ten minute walk along country footpaths. The village shop 2 miles.

Just an hour from London by train and 10 minutes drive from buzzy, cosmopolitan Brighton, we're also close to lots of pretty villages, lovely beaches, beautiful historic houses and gardens.
