Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

Dymock Red is a split level, 2 bedroom, ground floor apartment in a converted sandstone barn with many original features. It has one double bedroom, a second bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 guest bed.The open plan living space has comfortable seating in the lounge area plus dining space with fully-equipped kitchen. As we are only a few minutes from some excellent road links our lovely rural location is perfect either as a relaxing retreat or a base to explore the wonderful local attractions.

The Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and Malvern Hills are all within easy striking distance, and there are excellent transport links beyond to the Midlands and South Wales.

Pat's Flat: a converted Pig Barn located on a peaceful farm, within the beautiful Wye Valley AONB. The historic towns of Monmouth and Ross on Wye, the river and Forest of Dean with their outdoor leisure activities - canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking - are easily accessible. A couple of pubs, eateries and village shop are within a few miles walk. Sorry - no pets - this is a working farm and there are friendly Labradors in the adjoining property who are likely to come and say hello.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.
