An inn has existed at this crossroads for centuries. The building dates back to the 1600s. We sensitively restored the property in 2021 conserving the lime-washed walls and beams and creating a light and spacious living area. Sole use of 3 acre field.

The Sheep Pod

The Sheep POD is set its own 3 acre field with views of the Preseli Hills and sheep for neighbours. 1.5 miles from the popular boutique town of Narberth, a short drive to the Preseli Hills and the wonderful Pembrokeshire beaches. We take one night bookings on request, don't hesitate to ask. Bookings are for Airbnb guests only, for insurance purposes no extra visitors or guests please. We now have a sail cloth to half cover the hot tub, when needed, on rainy evenings or hot sunny days.

It has 180 degree views over Langland Bay which can be enjoyed from the bright & airy open plan living space as well as from the balcony. The apartment is ideally located only a short walk from Langland Beach and 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes walk to the picturesque village of Mumbles. This is a perfect base to explore the beaches of Gower and enjoy the surf, swimming, sunbathing and walking on offer.

Our guests choose to stay because it is small friendly campsite and for the quiet environment. WE DO NOT allow amplified music at anytime and all guests need to be quiet after 10pm Check in from 15:00 -18:00. Checkout by 11:00

The Gambo

The Gambo is a traditional Shepherd's Hut with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing break. It has a king-size bed, a fitted kitchen, full size fridge, wood-burning stove and bathroom. There is a 2-seater snuggler settee to relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the countryside and nearby coastline. Outside is a firepit, table, chairs and a Jacuzzi hot tub. Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and writing shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood".
