Unique, self contained lodge set high aside a historic moat abundant with ducks, wildlife & view of the Blackwater Estuary. Quaint Burnham-on-Crouch is mins away with its marina/wedding venues/seal trips, pubs/cafes/shops/cinema & Museum. Pretty Maldon is just 20 mins away. Here at The Lodge pubs/cafes are just up the road or you can relax on the decking with a glass of wine from the local vineyards. Secure gated entrance & private parking to the side grounds of the owners house. Car Essential.

Riverside Bungalow.

This is a lovely little bungalow on the banks of the River Crouch. It is semi rural. A 5 minute walk to Althorne station and 15 minute drive into Burnham on Crouch, which has some some great pubs and restaurants. We allow 2 well behaved dogs. The riverside walks are fabulous. It is a a quiet and tranquil spot. If you need a relaxing break, this is an ideal place. Nearest pub The Three Horseshoes is roughly a 5 min drive. The Tower - 1850s Tiny House in Historic Maldon

Step into a unique slice of Maldon's history with our charming and quaint house, nestled in the very heart of this historic Essex town. Originally built in the mid-19th-century, our delightful property boasts a fascinating past, having once served as the town's smokehouse. Local history suggests it played a vital role as a food store, where bacon was carefully air dried or perhaps where the town's cheesemonger would have stored their finest selections for the shop located in the main building.

Private parking outside lodge and free airport parking for those flying from Southend airport. Cot and high chair available. DVD players and dvds

With its own beachside garden and breathtaking uninterrupted views of the wildest of Essex creeks and marshes, the cottage is only to be reached on foot atop a sea wall. The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The last in a row of westerly facing cottages, perfect to watch the evening sun go down . From the front garden or even laying in bed, watch the tide slip in and out, the fishing boats come and go and live, for a while, in a world moving at a slower pace.
