Close to the Historic Square (you may have seen it in the movie Groundhog Day) you can easily walk to unique shops, cafes, and restaurants. Enjoy a comfy retreat in this cute 1BR home nestled right next to Grass Lake, IL. Newly updated shower. A lovely space to unwind by the lake whether it is work or play. Awake to a quiet morning, ready for a day of water activities with impressive views. Early risers can catch a sunrise to die for. Indulge in the comfort and tranquility of this lakehouse cabin. We conduct regular pest treatment to keep pests away, but being close to nature and the lake, expect occasional bugs in warmer weather.

Enjoy time at our centrally-located, family-friendly home. Close by, you'll find a public fishing dock and the popular Phil's Beach. A peaceful space with an outside patio and grill, perfect for relaxing at end of day. We also have a large driveway that can accommodate your boat making it easy to enjoy a day on Bangs Lake or a short 15 min trip to Fox Lake. Nearby attractions include the Volo Museum, Jurassic Gardens, and Lake County Discovery Museum. Please note the backyard is not fenced in.

Though we clean just hours before your stay spiders can & will spin a web in that short time.

We welcome you to be our guest in this charming, historic home built in 1911 by German mason Nicholas Bohr. This upper unit apartment is a spacious 1,100 square feet, restored in 2018. The private entrance to "The Apartment" will lead you to 2 cozy bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a walk in shower, a large living room, and bright clean kitchen will make you feel right at home.
