Highfield cottage is a stone-built house on a hill at Hillhouse Farm Escapes in the Scottish Borders. This old shepherd's house is renovated to a modern & cosy standard. It has a superb kitchen with range cooker and large dining table, a huge lounge and two generous bedrooms (one is en-suite). Best of all is the stunning rural location with incredible views. It's an easy one-mile walk to a pub. Dog friendly. The house next door, a Little House on the Hill (Herniecleugh), is also available.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers who have their car. We can also accommodate a child / third person if required.
