From outside it appears to be a classic Shepherds Hut, as featured in Netflix feature film "The Dig", but inside it is a luxury space for up to two people furnished with a comfy double bed. The hut is fully insulated with underfloor heating to keep you warm on chilly nights and well ventilated with double doors and windows on those barmy summer evenings.

Oakhurst is a Bed & Breakfast, we are offering this basic single room through airbnb. This space is ideal for Gatwick Airport night stops it is also suitable for airline trainees, operating crew and as a home while on a training course in the area. The room is very clean, busses plus 10 minute walk and a great pub 5 minutes away. A fridge microwave and utensils are available. Right now this room is self check in and contactless, we will keep you updated as to when we extend the service.

The newly fitted kitchen has sink, microwave, hob, and fridge/freezer. Mayfield village walks. Fo National Trust houses, castles, and the South Downs Small dogs welcome. The property sits at the end of a quiet country lane in Barnham village surrounded by fields of grazing horses, and is an ideal location to stay and relax. A stay at the `Chicken Shed` is sure to be a peaceful and relaxing time.
