The accommodation is situated in a picturesque Welsh rural setting, the ambiance is enhanced by the soothing chirping of birds, fresh air, occasional dog barking. Ideal for visiting Brecon Beacons.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

La Cantera is a self-contained accommodation situated in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Once a double-garage, it has been converted to offer our guests beautiful panoramic views, easy access to attractions in the surrounding area, privacy, relaxation, tranquillity, and a high-end interior with the added luxury of a hot tub and a log burner. Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with a metered heater. AC is pay as you go, which covers the whole cottage.
