Yr Hen Stabl is a dog friendly, converted farm stable full of character and charm. It is simply furnished with antique Welsh furniture and textiles. The cosy interior with wood burning stove offers a comfortable space in which to relax after long walks in the Brecon Beacons or from which to work remotely. Based near to the waterfalls, the cottage provides easy access to outdoor activities such as wild swimming, gorge walking and hiking. It is also conveniently situated for the Gower coast.

This stone coach house conversion with underfloor heating is set in a beautiful garden, offering a cozy, home-from-home feel with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Located in Tongwynlais, it has excellent transport links to Cardiff city centre in under 20 minutes, and easy access to all of South East Wales. The magical Castell Coch is just up the road, and the Coach House is a 1-minute walk from the local pub. Enjoy fantastic mountain and woodland walks, all nearby for a perfect escape.

Benefits from stunning views over the Afan Valley and located on the Afan Forest Park's low level cycle route 'Y Rheilffordd' (railway in welsh) which runs along the base of the valley. This is a great trail for families with picnic and refreshment stops along the 36km trail. 'Y Rheilffordd' gives easy access to 6 world class trails as well as Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre, Glyncorrwg Visitor Centre and Afan Bike Park.

Shepherd's Rest

Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm.

The Cowshed

Located at the foot of the Brecon Beacons, this well positioned property offers a large, spacious, modern kitchen and breakfast bar with original wooden beams and high ceilings. No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door, No 2 is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.
