You’ll love Great Salkeld with its excellent village pub, ancient church and its many countryside walks. The village is set in the tranquil Eden Valley, close to the river Eden. Just 10 miles from the Lake District National Park, it makes an ideal base from which to explore this stunning region.

Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. The building was once a working part of the Eden Valley Railway and has been fully modernised to provide a unique, compact self-catering holiday accommodation for up to two guests. Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
