the pod@springwater

The Pod at Springwater is a unique, handcrafted property set up amongst the trees. It has two bedrooms: one double, with a large window and a view into the trees and the smaller, twin room, with offset bunk beds. The living room has a smart tv. There's also a well equipped bathroom with a great shower. Downstairs is accessed through a trapdoor in the floor to the kitchen or the fun way via the tube slide. Double doors open onto the backyard, which has an outdoor fireplace, pizza oven and bbq.

Parsonage Farm Stables

More than 500 years old and set in a gloriously remote rural location on Exmoor, this is a fabulous hayloft floor apartment on the Coleridge Way with enclosed garden - perfect for couples, small families and dogs. In the valley where Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan, this is a house steeped in history. The property sleeps 4, though it's just as suitable for couples, as the second bedroom is 'compact'. It has fabulous views across the Bristol Channel, and is a the perfect retreat from busy daily life.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

We do not provide breakfast but there is a fridge. We are 5 minutes walk to pubs and tea rooms and 10 minutes walk to beach. Tents can be pitched for children on request for a small extra fee. Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The two bedroom apartment is furnished to a high standard and includes log burner, Smart TV and a well equipped kitchen comprising oven and grill, induction hob and fridge. The dining table converts to a workstation and the contemporary bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

Boatman's Cottage is a delightful stylish cottage tucked away in the centre of the wonderful Exmoor village of Porlock. Believed to date back to the 1890s, this cottage is part of a small terrace originally built for boatbuilders and their families. The cottage row is described in the Historic Exmoor record as 'having a pleasing sense of seclusion' and it certainly does, yet a short walk along the mediaeval Drang and you are in the heart of the wonderful Porlock Village.
