It is located in The Forest of Dean and The Wye Valley, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and ideal as a base for all sorts of outdoor pursuits. Hawkers Cottage has it's own private patio looking onto a stunning view of farm and woodland. There is a large communal garden to play and relax in.
Chesil Bank is set in the stunning countryside just 2miles ( and on a bus route) from the beautiful market town of Monmouth. The Wye valley is on the door step with the rivers Wye and Monnow brilliant for water activities. A hop over the back field will take you to the glorious Buckholt woods, brimming with flora and fauna. This area is renowned for cyclists and we are actually on the John O' Groats to Land's End cycle route!
Cowshed Cottage is warm and well-equipped all year round. It has two en-suite bedrooms and sleeps up to four people. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped. Ample car parking directly outside the front door. Garden furniture and a barbecue on your own private patio area is perfect for dining and enjoying the weather! The nearest town, Coleford (1 mile), has a varied selection of shops and cafes. Nearby local attractions include Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, Symonds Yat and the Wye Valley.
