Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton, adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. It is advisable to have a car as we are in a rural countryside location. FYI I do not charge a cleaning fee.

This is a 200 year old miners cottage (built in 1803). It is situated on the ancient Pilgrims Way outside the medieval village of Lenham in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage interior is in excellent decorative order; fully equipped; electric central heating plus log burning fire. Guests have use of the beautiful garden. Can also be a great base to visit London from the local station.
