Sit by the babbling river and chill out with a book or just unwind listening to the bird song. If you are after a more adventurous stay there are lots of great beaches within a 25 min drive with lots to do in the surrounding areas. It's dog heaven, with lots of pet friendly cafes and restaurants locally, and numerous dog friendly beaches nearby.
